Effectiveness of A Training Program Based on Recreational Activities Use on Developing Creative Thinking Skills in Hearing Impaired Pupils
Research Abstract
Abstract: The research aimed to develop Creative Thinking Skills in Hearing Impaired Pupils through a training program based on the use of recreational activities. The research sample consisted of (24) Hearing Impaired Pupils, whose ages ranged between (9-12) years, with an average age of (10.88) and a standard deviation of (0.97). The sample was divided into two experimental and control groups, each consisting of (12) Pupils. The research tools consisted of Creative thinking test, Version (B), prepared by: A.B. Torrance: Translated and codified by Muhammad Ahmad Mahmoud Khattab (2018), A program based on recreational activities prepared by the researcher, and the data were processed statistically through the statistical program (SPSS), The results of the search revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average ranks of the Pupils of the experimental and control groups in the pre and post measurements of the dimensions of the creative thinking test in favor of the average ranks of the experimental group after applying the program, and there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group pupils in the pre and post measurements of the dimensions of the creative thinking test in favor of the mean scores of the post measurement, Also, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the post and follow-up measurements on the creative thinking scale of the experimental group.
