Abstract: The current study was aimed to reduction of stuttering Educable Mentally Retarded and improving their level of Adaptive Behavior using a program based on Prolonged Speech; the study used the following tools:
1- Coloured Progressive Matrices Scales (Prepared by Emad Ahmed Hassan, 2014).
3- Stuttering Severity Instrument (Prepared by Sayed El-Bhas, 2005).
4- Adaptive Behavior Scales (Prepared by Farouk Sadik, 1985).
5- Program based on Prolonged Speech (Prepared by the researcher).
The participants of the study were (8) children with Educable Mentally Retarded suffer from stuttering in the elementary school and suffer from a low level of adaptive behavior.
