PHD Title
The Effectiveness of a Program Based on the Verbtonal Activities in Developing Language Skills among The Hard of Hearing Children
PHD Abstract
This study aimed at using a program based on verbtonal activities to develop language skills among the hard of hearing children as well as identifying its durability in this regard. The research sample consisted of (10) hard of hearing children between (6) and (8) years of age (mean age= 7.64; SD= 0.84). They represented a single experimental group. The following tools were utilized: Stanford–Binet intelligence scales (5th Edition) (Standardized by Mahmoud Abu El-Neil, 2011), Language skills scale for the hard of hearing children (prepared by the researcher) and The verbtonal activities based program (prepared by the researcher). The current study adopted the one- group experimental research design because of its appropriateness to the study nature. Results indicated the effectiveness of the utilization program based on verbtonal activities in developing language skills among the hard of hearing children.
