The Most Commonly Used Rehabilitation Programs with Autism Spectrum Disorder in The Egyptian Environment from The Point of View of Specialists in Light of Some Variables

Research Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the most commonly used rehabilitation programs with people with autism spectrum disorder in the Egyptian environment from the point of view of specialists in the light of some variables (gender, geographical distribution, specialization in autism spectrum disorder), and the researcher used the descriptive survey approach, where the research sample consisted of (200) specialists with special education qualifications who are familiar with the rehabilitation programs used with people with autism spectrum disorder and whose years of experience ranged from (1: 15 years), and enrolled in special education centers in the various governorates of Egypt in its seven regions (Cairo Region, Alexandria Region, Delta Region, Canal Region, North Upper Egypt Region, Assiut Region, South Upper Egypt Region), and the study tools were a questionnaire to identify The most used rehabilitation programs with people with autism spectrum disorder in the Egyptian environment from the point of view of specialists, and the results of the research indicated that the most used rehabilitation programs with autism spectrum disorder in the Egyptian environment is the "ABLLS" program, Where the degree of its use was high and topped in the first place average of (3.92) and a percentage of (78.4%), and in second place the "Lovaas" program with an average of (3.82) and a percentage of (76.4%), and in third place the "TEACH" program with an average of (3.1) and a percentage of (62%), and in last place came the program " Delaware" with an average of (1.65) and a percentage of (33%). And The Results Of The Research Also Indicated That There Were No Statistically Significant Differences Between The Sample Members Due To The Variable Of Gender, And Geographical Distribution and specialization Of Their Use Of Rehabilitation Programs For People With Autism Spectrum Disorder In Lovaas Program, Teach Program, ABLLS Program, Sunrise Program, VB-MAPP Program, PEAK Program, Denver Program, LEAP Program, Douglas Program, Delaware Program, Floor Time Program, HELP Program.
