PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS FOR MOTHERS OF ADOLESCENTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR IN THOSE ADOLESCENTS (A Psychometric – Clinical Study)

Research Abstract

One of the most important problems encountered by people in their daily life, is the psychological stress which may be a result of a lot of burdens or unbearable psychological and physical needs. But the psychological stress encountered by mothers of mentally retarded aggressive teenagers, is much greater than stress faced by normal sons' mothers. As the former not only face an increasing stress and burdens but also suffer physically and psychologically as a result of anxiety and stress. The more their sons are aggressive, the more mothers became stressed. As mothers become victims as they suffer from intolerable stress, diseases, depression, being unable to feel happiness any more, and being in an endless mode of sadness and despair.
