The role of positive psychology in developing a sense of happiness in blind adolescents
Research Abstract
The aim of the current study is to shed more research on the concept of happiness and its components and the reasons that lead to a feeling of happiness, especially among the blind, and to know the ways to achieve happiness in the life of the blind through positive psychology, and the study was conducted on a sample of (85) blind teenagers from two schools: the first Al-Nour School, Hammamet Al-Koba, and the second, Taha Hussein School in Zaytoun, which is affiliated to the Ideal Center for the Care and Guidance of the Blind in Cairo, whose ages are between (14-18) years old, and all members of the sample are male, and the descriptive approach was used, and the study resulted in a feeling of Happiness affects the individual's psychological and physical health, as happiness is affected by several things, the most important of which is the integration of the individual's personality, acceptance of the self, and satisfaction with life, including the pressures and hardships, as well as the happiness of the blind, through the love of others, interacting with them positively, and making sure that new friends are established.
