Effectiveness of the training program on social skills in developing some positive mental variables in blind adolescents
Research Abstract
- The study aimed to Verify the effectiveness of a counseling program in improving self-efficacy among a group of university students and its consequence impact on reducing future anxiety and improving quality of life for the experimental group, and to know the differences which are due to the variable of sex (males-females) on the study variables after applying the counseling program.
- The present study sample consisted of (60) male and female students, (28)male students and (32) female students, their ages are between (21-23) years , divided into two samples as follows: one of them is Experimental consisted of(14 males , 16 females), and the other is controller consisted of (14 males,16 females).
- The Study instruments consisted of Self-efficacy scale for university students (prepared by / researcher); future anxiety Scale (prepared by / Zainab Choucair, 2005); quality of life Scale for university students (prepared by / researcher); and behavioral cognitive counseling program (prepared by / researcher).
- The current study used the quasi-experimental approach.
