Study Title: Psychological flow and its relationship to self-determination skills and positive thinking for adolescents with visual impairment Researcher Name: Basma Harby Al-Sayed Ali Study degree : Master's degree in Special Needs Science, specializing in visual impairment. Location & Year: Dept, of Visual Impairment - Faculty of Science for People with Special Needs - Beni Suef University, 2025. Supervision:Prof. Dr/ Mahmoud Rabie Ismail Al-Shahawi Dr/ Samah Mustafa Abdou Ibrahim Al- Aqili Dr/ kamellia Mohamed Abdel Latif Al-Wakeel The current study aimed to identify the correlation between psychological flow and both self-determination skills and positive thinking among adolescents with visual impairment, and to reveal differences in the study variables depending on the type and degree of disability, as well as the percentage of contribution of psychological flow dimensions in predicting both self-determination and positive thinking skills, The study sample consisted of (202) adolescents with visual disabilities in Al Nour Schools for the Blind in the governorates of Beni Suef, Fayoum, and Minya, with an average age of (15-18) years and a standard deviation of (1.43). The study tools included a personal interview form prepared, a psychological flow scale, Self-determination skills scale, positive thinking scale prepared by the researcher, The results of the study found that there is a positive correlation at the level of (0.01) between psychological flow and self-determination skills among adolescents with visual impairment, and the existence of a positive correlation at the level of (0.01) between psychological flow and positive thinking among adolescents with visual impairment, There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of male and female adolescents with visual impairment in each of psychological flow, self-determination skills, and positive thinking, and there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of those with partial visual impairment and those with total visual impairment in each of the following: Psychological flow and self-determination skills towards people with total visual impairment, There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of people with partial visual impairment and those with total visual impairment in positive thinking, The psychological flow dimensions model was the strongest predictive model in contributing to and predicting self-determination skills.
